The short version

There are no accounts and no advertising or tracking cookies. Characters and names you save are stored in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.

AI features

When you use an AI feature (describing a character, reading a cast request, drafting a backstory or checking handles), the text you submit is sent to our server and on to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the result. We don't store it. Anthropic's handling of API data is described in its own privacy policy.

Fair-use limits

To keep AI features free, we count AI uses per visitor per day. We store a one-way hash of your IP address with a daily counter, which expires within 48 hours. We never store your IP address itself.

Hosting

InkBorn is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data to deliver and protect the site.
